Get Your Bank Account!
1. Go to Apple Bank
With your child, go to any Apple Bank location. The closest Apple Bank to the school is 370 East 149th street Bronx NY 10455.
2. Ask to open a Youth Savings Account
When you arrive, ask to speak to a clerk who can help you open a custodial bank account. The Youth Savings Account is available to young people ages 6-17.
3. Complete 3 easy steps
Provide the following to open a Youth Savings Account*:
- Your learner must be able to write his or her name.
- Show one form of learner's identification, such as a birth certificate or school photo ID.
- Deposit $1 minimum to open this account.
4. Complete the Bank Authorization
Once you set up your account, please complete this bank authorization form.
*If you do not have all of these items, please speak to your learner's teacher.

What's a custodial bank account?
A custodial bank account, or Youth Savings Account, is a savings account that an adult can open for a child.
When accompanied by an adult, the child can withdraw funds from the account. Guardians are free to deposit money into the account at any time but cannot withdraw it without the child's consent.
How long will it take for learners to recieve their stipend?
Timesheets are approved at the end of each month. Once approved, money will be sent to your bank account within two weeks.
